Mobilization and community management

Organizing and mobilizing people, needs, resources and aid. Who needs what, where they are, who can help.

CORAG represents a different dimension of Asaulia’s work. Here the purpose has to do with organizing and mobilizing people, needs, resources and aid.

The context

In settings where many people need support and many others want to help, one of the biggest problems is organization: who needs what, where they are, who can help, what resources exist, which volunteers are available, which organizations can take part, which needs come first and how it all gets coordinated.

What gets built

Asaulia takes part in building systems that can order this information and make mobilization easier: recording needs and prioritizing them, placing them on the territory, knowing which resources and volunteers are available, and matching them with follow-up.

What it proves

That Asaulia’s capabilities reach well beyond commercial companies. They can also be used to build systems for communities and organizations with social purposes. The same capability — understanding a need and building a structure around it — works to mobilize aid.
